Self Locating Spacers

SINGLE AND DOUBLE ENDED

General Information:

These particular standoffs and spacers are used to help ease the assembling of pc boards and other sheet metal projects with the main casings and other parts. Just drop them into an existing hole and know that your thread parts will ease into alignment of the mating parts.
Like all of our products, these standoffs and spacers can be modified to fit the needs of the individual customer. Modifications can be to the ID (ID .150 +-.005 vs .140 +.015-.000) or length (.250 +-.003).

Material and Shank Lengths Notes:

Not all materials are offered in Hex and Square. Please contact us to find out which grades are available.
Besides the recommended lengths, other sizes can be made to suit the user's need. Please contact us with your special requirements. As a rule of thumb, the shank should be about .007" to .010" smaller than the board/plate thickness.

How to order examples:

You need a 2011 aluminum spacer that will locate into a single 1/16" pc board, that has an ID of .140", has an OD of 1/4", and has a body length of 1/2".

You need a 303 standoff the will seperate two 1/8" pc boards which will be held together by 6-32 threads, has an OD of 5/16 hex", and has a body length of 3/4".
